Q3 2022 Performance of Top Geolocation Games on iOS in Europe

As the third quarter of 2022 wrapped up, Sensor Tower's data gives us a glimpse into the performance of the top geolocation games on iOS in Europe. Here's how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Niantic, Inc.'s Pokémon GO continued to lead the pack with consistent engagement. The game saw its downloads peaking at around 103k in late August, while weekly active users reached nearly 3.5 million in the same period. Revenue trends fluctuated, hitting a high of over $1.2 million also in August.

Ludia's Jurassic World Alive experienced a slight decline in downloads from around 10k in early August to approximately 3k by the end of September. The weekly active users mirrored this trend, with a drop from close to 54k to around 42k in the same timeframe. Revenue peaked at around $64k in early July.

The Walking Dead: Our World, developed by Next Games, saw modest numbers with downloads reaching up to 722 in late August and weekly active users hitting a high of around 7.8k in late July. Revenue for the game showed a slight increase towards the end of August, reaching nearly $6.6k.

For Reality Games (London) Limited's Landlord GO: Trade Real Estate, downloads started strong at around 19k in early July but saw a decrease to approximately 4k by late September. The weekly active user count followed a similar trajectory, with numbers declining from around 44k to 25k over the quarter.

Lastly, Akita Limited Liability Company's Tamadog - Puppy Pet Dog Games showed an impressive spike in downloads from around 2.8k in late June to over 13k by the end of August. Weekly active users for the game also rose significantly, from under 4k to over 11k in the same period.
